last full day in/near paris saw us reunite with dana from the
birthright trip and our threesome adventure took us out to versailles
to see the chateau of marie antoinette and louis XVI. since i'm flying
solo after paris, we had a nice dinner, french-styled, out on the place
de clichy. i enjoyed showing off my wine skills (i can thank the conrad
for refining that) and a nice french onion soup followed by a confit du
canard. i also tried some of kelly's steak tartare! (i even impressed
myself by trying it). next stop: normandy.
