Wendover is a quaint little town/village North-West of London surrounded by plenty of woods and greenery.  There are many nice pubs and shops along with a brewery and river.  Sunday this week we embarked on a different kind of adventure there though... The first Birthday Party!

We arrived at Daves and Emmas just before midday for James first birthday party.  James is the son of Bills best mate and his wife.  When we arrived at midday it was for the family and close friends.  Dave (who is Aussie) and Emma put on a awesome spread, BBQ, Pavlova and beer!  We caught up with both their families and had a few beves as adults do at a 1st Birthday.

At about 2-3pm the kiddies arrived.  There were friends from all different sorts of natal classes and and old school friend of Emma's from school.  Following their arrival there was some chocolate cake, some buzzing kids and one hell of a mess.  A great time was had by all age groups and by 5pm the babies left and 7pm Bill and I were nackered.  We heade back to London having had a great time but were just as exhausted as the kids (we must be getting old!!!)
