On Tuesday we left St. Louis for Indianapolis. We drove through Illinois and made our first stop for lunch at 3 Sister's Cafe, which was featured on Diners, Drive-In's and Dives. The restaurant is in a super cute blue house and serves primarily vegetarian meals. We had a great platter of dips, including hummus, pesto, a tomato paste, gorgonzola spread, and a barley pilaf. It was one of the best meals we had on the trip!

After lunch we visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and went to the Hall of Fame Museum. The museum was awesome, it was filled with the winning cars from the past races, including historic cars from the 20's. We watched a video about the races and saw some old motorcycles. We determined that if we were still in the 1920's, the bear-mobile would have been a contender in the race!

After the museum we drove around downtown Indianapolis, and then went to dinner at Zest, which was also featured on DDD. We had some delicious chicken and salmon, and enjoyed these little pretzel rolls with mustard spread.

Our visit to Indianapolis was short but sweet. Now we were off to Jared's old stomping grounds in Wheeling, West Virginia!

Love all the photos and stories! So, did you pitch the junior tent or are you going to hang on to for the memories?

We had awesome times and made great memories while crossing the country and the junior tent was a very important piece of equipment! We plan to keep the junior forever unless it doesn't fit in our 550 sf studio..... that will be a game time decision once we move in but you never know when you may need a junior tent!
