So today I was severely out of it. One of those days where the brain synapses simply are not connecting. Thoroughly incapable of comprehending directions or a map-even with the GPS unit telling us where to go. So Dad got to be navigator today. I was just too tired.
So let me see if I can remember my brain-fog of a day...
I believe it involved beach. Oh yes, it must have. We are at Myrtle Beach, after all. It was a low-key day. We went to the big tourist trap mall area (kinda like Ontario Mills for those of you familiar with that back home) and checked it out. We ended up at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and had lunch. Crazy place, but kinda fun, I guess. Lots of parrots and island paraphernalia.
We kept meaning to go miniature golfing. The place apparently is the golf capitol of the world and has something like 180 golf courses. And equally as many putt-putt golf centers. There were at least 2 per small block. Weird. Most were closed since it's off-season, but there were still a few that appeared to be hip and happenin'. But we never really made it. Instead, we just spent more time on the beach, collecting seashells and such, and then headed back home to play board games. That's about it, I think. What I can remember of it. I really was tired.
