So we made it to Greensboro, NC. This is our pit-stop on the way to Fairfax, VA (the "Washington, D.C." office). It was a fairly uneventful day-just a day of driving. But Albert wants to make sure that I document each and every stop so we can keep the map pins accurate! We were going to meet up with friends that live here in Greensboro, but they had plans and were not able to get together. We'll try to catch up with them when we head back this way again.
The campground is really nice. Very foresty, but it's actually just a short drive from the freeway. Makes it convenient. Perhaps we'll stay longer next time.
One thing I've noticed on the drive-the Carolina's are absolutely beautiful. It seems we're crossing yet another river about every 10 minutes or so. And all you see along the freeway are trees. Lots of big, beautiful trees. No biilboards, no power lines, just trees and water. I love it.
