I have no idea what time my body clock would say it is - it has been one long, long day.

I got up at 5 am for a 7 am flight from Albany on august 11th.  I had a 4 hr lay-over in Newark where I discovered that my new netbook didn't work anymore.  It wouldn't start and kept retrying until finally it said it needed help and I could shut it off.  The flight from Newark to Beijing was 13 hrs long covering almost 8,000 miles by heading east along the coast of maritime Canada, between Greenland and Iceland, over the Arctic Sea, Siberia, Ulan Bator in Mongolia.  I then had a 4 hr lay-over in Beijing.  I had to drink my water to get through security but they didn't take my bottle or make me go through everything again and I didn't have to take the computer out of its case.  By this time it was 2 pm aug 12th.

My flight got into Incheon/Seoul at 10 pm and I made it to the hotel just before midnight.  Somehow I wasn't expecting rain but there was rain on the drive to the hotel and even some thunder later on.  Since I didn't have hotel reservations, everything was full but I was lucky and got a cancellation from the airport tourist kiosk.  I had a little trouble with the shower and trying to get the temperature regulated.  I finally got it figured out but then couldn't get the shower to stop dripping - it was like a water fall all night.  I have my robe and slippers for inside the room and separate ones for the bathroom.  I was a little hungry since I almost missed my last meal on the plane but it was a skimpy white bread sandwich and some coke.  Continental and Air China were disappointing as far as food goes.

Well time to catch up on some sleep.
