Driving into this place in amazing coming over the hill and into the valley, it reminded us of Edinburgh quite a bit with the  buildings etc. After driving around trying to find a carpark we eventually found one in the sports centre (if you ever go great place to park only about a 5 min walk into town). First stop the Roman Baths what an amazing place! The muesum is very good and the audio tour is great but the best thing is the guided tour where they actually explain how it was built etc. The amazing thing is that it most of it is still the original stuff that the Romans Built and the great Bath is still ined with the orignal lead. In all the years that have past and all the different owners there has been no changes, it all works perfectly. There were different rooms that were heated at different temperatures and learning how the romans use to clean themselves it is not so different to today! Anyway after the Baths we had a look around at all the quite and lovely shops before heading back to Boscombe via Stone Hendge of course for some dinner. We had a lovely dinner and on the way we saw swans flying.....well I never. More Cider that night, more stories and had the pleasure of watching Davina pack her bag for her trip to Mt Kilimajaro, it was like watching a kid of christmas with all her new stuff. Anyway until next time were we will be going down to York in 2 weeks.
