So we walk from our unit 15mins and we are now walking along Princes
street looking over the gardens and up to the castle, unbelievable.
Once we got up and through the gates to the castle we started to have a
look around. The history that this place has is amazing walking up the
coble stone roads towards the top of the castle. Up the top of the
castle is Saint Margaret's Chapel which is the oldest building in
Edinburgh. It is still used for military weddings. It is very small but
very very beautiful. We went and saw a guy who took us through the
highland weapons and also how to put on the traditional feileadh mhór
-philimore (which is 1 bit of material which is 60 inches wide and 7
yards long). Highly recommend visiting this wonderful castle.
