Waking up this morning was ooh so difficult, I'm not 18 as I used to be - I'm turning into an old grandma.  I need to reinstate a bedtime here, this coming home at whatever time and being up for 8 am class just isn't working!  But, I did it, I woke up for class in the morning and went for the "last" day of classes.

Once again, I couldn't tell you a thing about what happened in class because I was physically there but not "mentally."  I had to go to class because I had a presentation to make in Securities class...let's not go there, the presentation actually never happened...but that's a whole other story.  Regardless, after my second class, Human Rights, I went back to my room and crashed.  I was exhausted.

I finally can say I took a real siesta - I fell asleep at about 10a, woke up for lunch.  Had that nasty stuff downstairs and then went right back to my room to go to sleep.  I wasn't feeling so hot.  I had a make-up class at 6 that I was supposed to go to, but I didn't make it to that, either - I wasn't feeling very good!  I wish I could say it was something as interesting as a hangover, but unfortunately, the one glass of wine I had a the Jazz Club wasn't enough to cause that!

Anyway, I was convinced to get up and shower for the "Fiesta Fin del Curso" - apparently they were having actual tables with tablecloths and real food for our final party with our professors.  Given the fact that I've been eating crap for the past 4 weeks, that was enough to get my sick behind out of bed - the fact that we were going to have real food.

So I threw a dress on and headed downstairs.  Yes, there were tablecloths, but only on about 4 tables for 10 people.  So much for what I thought was going to be a gourmet meal...it was just tapas.  No more tapas, I want real food!  Anyway, it turned in to be a good night...there was a DJ out there playing some good music and I just couldn't help myself...I started to feel better as I moved to the beat!

After that celebration, Sandy wouldn't let me go to bed so she got us in free to this place called Kapital, apparently the biggest club in Madrid.  It usually costs about 20 Euros to get in, but she got us in for free.  (She made friends with some of the waiters at the event).  We finally made it into Kapital (after being denied initially for having the wrong name and losing Shajine to stomach issues).  Kapital is a 7-floor club, yes, that ish is crazy.  It was great for the first hour or so, just like a really big Senor Frogs.  It brought me back to my Miami days - but the same thing hit me that always hit me in Miami - I couldn't take hours and hours of Spanish music...so I had to go home.  So that's what I did, at about 3 am....
