Day 12 - July 10th
Today was another regular ol' day of school and that stuff...you know same ol' same ol'. After class, we had to sit in the train station for a couple of hours to book our train tickets for Seville - my goodness I HATE the train station. I decided to book all of the tickets that I will be using for the duration of my stay - I figured with 2 hours of waiting + major language barriers it was better to just get it all out of the way.
So, that was really my whole day - nothing too exciting.
But, I thought I'd share something else that's "different' about Spain - NO REFILLS! Ever heard of that? We're so spoiled in America - drink up forever and ever. No, if I want some more Fanta Naranja, I have to pay another 2.5 euros or whatever it is (mind you, this is close to $4.00 US) to get 500 ml of some Fanta. Oh, and those 500 ml (for those of you that are having conversion difficulties) is a little bit skinner than the regular coke bottles than in the states. Everything's just smaller here...rather than like a 12 ounce can, they serve like 8 ounce cans. Rip off! ...but I guess you have to pay for it if you really want it!
