Well, I lied.  Last night I didn't go out...so, you would think I went to sleep, right?  Nope...try again.  While Toby was finishing her homework to prepare for Friday, Ashley and I were just chillin in my room listening to some music (yes, my very random playlist) when a good ol' Fugees song came on and Ashley decided to bust into song.  Then we hear Shajine down the hallway..."Is that Ashley?"  So, as you guessed...her singing wasn't exactly soothing enough to put children to bed.  Regardless, Shajine came to my room and we started chatting...for what we didn't know was going to be a LONGGGG night!  When Toby finally finished her homework, she came to the room, too to let us know it was time to go out...and we just continued chatting!  It wasn't until 3:56 in the morning that we realized the time and decided we had to throw in the towel and go to bed.  Yayy for girl talk!

Unfortunately, I had to get up for class the next morning on little to no sleep.  It's so hard to stay awake in class on such little sleep, especially when there aren't enough plugs in the room to allow me to browse the internet when I get bored like in the states.  But...I did it!  I just spent the entire day waiting for siesta...that never came, once again!

As soon as class was over, we decided that it was time to put our plan into action and head to the bus station to get tickets to Barcelona for the weekend.  About 6 of us headed to the train station and got a number -- # 196...that would have been fine except for the fact that they were at #41 and moving rather slowly.  We decided to bounce...

After that (I know some of you are going to hate me for this), we decided to take a trip to this special place that we had been dreaming about - TGI Fridays!  We followed Anthony around and around and around to this metro station that started with a "P" that he apparently saw a Friday's at.  To this moment, his allegations have not been confirmed.  We went in and out of train stations, walked up and down roads, got on buses where the metro station was broken, and asked people (including la policía and hotel employees) in the street - "Donde esta el restaurante Friday's?" to no avail.  So, after we walked to Plaza de Colón, we spotted Hard Rock Café and decided to indulge.  If I say so myself, I think I deserved every single one of those potato skins after walking about 300 miles (no I'm not exaggerating)...and it was fabuloso!  (Not exactly potato skins from the states, but it will do...)

So, as you guessed, I missed my Siesta nap that day...sad, once again!  But, I figured an early night was in my future... Not so much!  We spent the night attempting to book bus tickets to Barcelona...with the slowest website in the history of the world wide web.  Once all that was taken care of, 2 AM, nighty night!
