Yes, I know, saying that I was going to journal every day was never going to happen...never in Madrid. It just doesn't happen. So, really all 3 of those before are just backlogs since I hadn't been doing them before. I'm trying...I'm really trying!
This morning - that horrible thing again, clase (class). This time, they actually taught...and taught the whole time. My eyes felt like they were closing on me. But, I survived. (Sorry about not having much to say about class...it's just not that exciting.)
I took my Siesta nap today, yayyy! It was short, but I still took it! I went to bed at about 12:30 and woke up at 2, not bad. Almuerzo time! (Lunch). I go downstairs...what do you think lunch is...más Jamón! Yayy! I skipped over the ham...but the Fried Eggs and papas fritas (French fries) and Zuchini Lasagna is just weird...but, hey, that's what they had! Needless to say, I had papas fritas for lunch, that's about it.
On our walk, we saw all these mimes in the streets trying to make a few euros.
We even saw a fight break out in the middle of the street while we were eating pizza for dinner (yah, I know, it wasn't my choice...) - it was pretty classic.
So, it's no around 11:20 PM (or 23:20h) and I'm getting buzzed to get ready to go out...so, I'll try my best to keep this going...
Stay tuned....

Yumm...Almuerzo!
Trying to plan trips...
After lunch, we went on a little adventure. I thought it was going to be a short one, but, nope, wrong again! We went to the Sol station and went shopping. We went to El Corté Inglés (A Wal-Mart on crack...they have everything you ever need in there...9 floors of Wal-Mart, imagine that!) But, we didn't stop there... we went to the 4 floor Zaras, H&M, and a bunch of other stores like that - just to check out the sales. They get everything here before we do, so the things that are full price in the US are on sale here...but, since this trip has wiped me out...I didn't end up doing much shopping...mostly looking. I can't guarantee that it will stay that way...but we'll see!On our walk, we saw all these mimes in the streets trying to make a few euros.
Saw him getting ready
The mud mimes
Thought this was cute...
The mermaid mime

Pizza Lunch
Oh, and Ice Cream, too!
Ice Cream in the streets...
But, I'm glad we were all sticking together and staying out of trouble! So, my smart behind decided to wear some flat sandals from traffic on this great shopping voyage around Madrid...needless to say, combined with our little running scavenger hunt the day before, my feet and calves are on fiya! No fun! I really need a foot massage right now...So, it's no around 11:20 PM (or 23:20h) and I'm getting buzzed to get ready to go out...so, I'll try my best to keep this going...
Stay tuned....

Pizza and Ice cream, yummy!
Good to know you can get some french fries anywhere ... :) And about your traffic shoes, comeon ... you should know better than that! Those shoes are for decoration, and at the most, walking from the house to the mailbox, and back. If you keep it up, you'll have some huge cows! hahaha ...
