I woke up today to a gang of wasps circling my feet and my head. I tried covering myself with my blanket but the buzzing sound coming from the other side of the blanket prevented me from sleeping any further. After I got up, they started annoying the others on the boat. We were all up in no time. None of us enjoyed the rude awakening. We all prefer the sun to wake us up. At breakfast, the wasps continued to annoy us. At the very least, I enjoyed the HK girls trying to shoosh the wasps away.
We didnt do much cruising today. It was a bit disappointing. I think we cruised for only half an hour in the morning and then anchored. Within that half an hour we saw some sunken village which really didnt impress me and then went to a small town called Simona. I walked around in Simona for 10 minutes before I realized there wasnt much to see (as I have already had my fill of ruins). So I just relaxed in the Mediterranean again. I returned to the boat after a 30 minute swim and we then took off. We cruised for another 60 minutes to our final destination and it was only noon. The best part of the cruise for me is actually boating through the Meditteranean so I was a bit disappointed that we didnt do much of it today. So from noon until 6 pm I just went swimming and read y book. Nothing else really to do besides that. A lot of boats eventually anchored next to us which I thought was great. It felt like we created our own little community.
After supper, Hakan took Sarah and I to a bar using the small rescue boat. People from the boats that anchored in our area eventually made their way to the bar as well. It was basically this tiny bar on thecorner of an island. There were about 40 people there. It was fun. We had a few drinks and danced for most of the night. At 1:30, Hakan took us back to the boat. Tomorrow is our last day of the cruise :(.
