After breakfast, our boat took off for a 2 hour journey to a town called Kas, a small port city.  We were supposed to get up at 4 am to go to some Aquarium but when I woke up Billy and Hakan (our 2 Turkish guides) were still asleep/ I was fine with that. I went back to bed. We never made it to the aquarium as our guys slept in but that was ok. 

It was noon when we got to Kas. We had 2 hours to walk around. Sarah and I went to check out some temples but it was just too hot to walk for an extended period of time. We were drenched in sweat after about 30 minutes so we decided to just jump into the Meditteranean and cool off. It was the right decision.

We returned to the boat at 2 pm and had lunch. We then went to our second stop of the day - Kekova. We stopped our boat far away from the town. You couldnt even see it. Instead we stopped our boat in this small space surrounded by cliffs. It was beautiful. We stayed there for the rest of the day as well as overnight.  I spent most of the afternoon swimming and reading my book on the deck of the boat. Life was definitely good to me today.

I am enjoying the cruise. It could have been better if we had more people. The HK girls are nice but they keep to themselves. So Sarah and I are each other's only company. Thankfully we get along.

At dinner time we had a BBQ on deck. We then just relaxed on board until we all fell asleep. In the end it was a bad idea to put the boat in between two cliffs as we couldnt get a breeze. It was a bit difficult to fall asleep but we all managed. Life could be worse than sleeping outside on a boat in the Meditteranean.
