Zandvoort

We were planning a big, fat city tour, starting in Amsterdam and going south via Rotterdam, Brugge, Antwerp and Brussels... but that never happened. Enter Zandvoort.
I had no idea, but just 30' outside Amsterdam is a nice village called Zandvoort. My wife suggested we checked out the Dutch beaches while still close, so we gave it a shot. Madonna!
Zandvoort resembles northern Germany's little port villages a lot, except for one thing: its beautiful sandy beach. We saw it, our jaws dropped, we stripped all the way down to our underwear, dropped on the sand and couldn't leave anymore.
Absolutely beautiful!
