Decided to stay an extra night in HCM City and arrived safely in Mui Ne yesterday afternoon. No sooner had we dumped our packs off in an office to go and find somewhere to stay, it started to chuck it down!! We looked at a few places and decided on a really nice place right on the beach. We booked ourselves onto a tour of the sand dunes etc then went for a really nice BBQ dinner followed by drinks on the beach - it's VERY quiet here which is a real nice change from the hectivity of HCM City. Had to get up at 4:30am this morning to catch the sunrise on the sand dunes, sadly it was quite cloudy but I still could have got some nice photos if my batteries hadn't chosen that moment to die!! After the sand dunes we went to a fishing village, waterfall and a local market - was a great morning. Got back to the hotel at 9am and felt like it should have been lunchtime! Spent the rest of the morning laying on the beach and enjoying the peace and quiet. Not much happening here at all, so will probably not update my blog again until I get to Nha Trang later in the week.
