So I went to Birmingham and it was busy. Birmingham is a very different city from London. I felt it when I first stepped off the bus. It seems a lot more industrialized though there are some very nice parts to the area. Mike and I went together and had a lot of fun. When we first got there we stopped for a bite to eat. Then we were off. I did some shopping and Mike was kind and patient as he waited for me to finish. We made our way to Victoria Square which was very nice. There we saw The Council House and a Statue of Queen Victoria. The fountain is the center of the area has the funniest name, it is known as the Floozie in the Jacuzzi, which makes me like it even more. It was a beautiful day so we continued to just walk around till we came to the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. We went in and it was very nice in there. A lot of the exhibits were hands on and I could see how kids would really like it. We then grabbed some coffee headed back to London on our 3 hour bus ride.

Love to my friends and family <3

I did feel the earthquake. My lamp swung and everything! After it my roommate from California said, 'Wow, that felt like home.' Too funny!

Grandma and Pop Pop
We were in Birmingham many years ago when we rented a barge on the canals. What made you select Birmingham??? Not familiar with the city. Nice pictures. I like the floozy in the jacuzzi, royal humour (english spelling, silly people). Keep on the move, so far so good. Lots of love--Grandma & Pop Pop
