As the trip comes to an end, I began to think about the one thing that really seems to have changed since 1999 -- toilets.  I remember 10 years ago having to constantly having go to public pay WC's and they weren't some of the best places I've seen.  Now 10 years later I believe the Czech Republic has some of the finest restrooms I have seen.  You won't find the type of stalls that we have in the US. I have found some state of the art restrooms, individual closet type stalls, with real doors, beautifully tiled with water saving toilets with all types of flushing devises.  They are plentiful around town and even at the smallest restaurants and bars you will find these types of facilities.  There are still public WC's, but they are very well maintained and some are privately owned and the owers take great pride in their facilities.

A few nights ago we had a wonderful evening in a bar/restaurant that was once a public WC which was converted.  This dive type bar was a blast.  There was a Czech folk singer that sang and we had a great family style meal.

On another topic, today one of the group members had the opportunity to play the organ at one of the cathedrals.  He put on a half hour concert for us that was really amazing.  One of the other members plays the flute and she was able to accomany him.  Really talented people.  Here are some pictures of the church.  The most unusual thing was after the concert the priest sold us some of the beer that they make -- these Catholics here sure know how to have a good time.

Also including some photos of one of my favorite street foods.

The rain was so refreshing today -- temps about 68 degrees -- ahhhh.  Don't look forward to returning to the 100+ temps.
