Having spent an incredible month in Bolivia it was time to move on.  We booked ourself on a 4am bus from Tupiza which in theory would give us enough time to cross the Argentinian border and board our 8am bus, destination Salta...  In practice this was not to be and what should have been a 10hr trip turned into a 17hr trip!

The bus nightmare was soon forgotten as we got into the Argentinian way of life, taking in Salta, an almost European styled city.  Outdoor cafes and restaurants lined the city squares and it was great to be in a city where people were going about the usual day to day life and we were doing 'normal' things.  We met up with our Salt Flat group and Nuvajo, our Dutch friend we keep bumping into along the way and enjoyed the hot weather, steaks, nightlife (and day long hangover) and all the good things Salta had to offer.
