After the jungle we set off on 3 day trip of the Pampas, a protected region 3hrs outside of Rurre. Within 30 minutes of being on a boat we had already seen around 100 Caimans all sitting on the banks looking plastic-like with their mouths open just about asking for their photo to be taken. There were families of turtles every 2 minutes, loads of Capybara's (the biggest rodent in the world), stalks and Serrera birds lined the river banks and pink dolphin sightings were not unusual.

On day 2 we all donned a pair of wellies and went Anaconda hunting on the banks of a caiman infested lake. We managed to stumble across a 3m anaconda, really cool to see although a little more wary about walking along the banks after that!
