In 3 hours time during our drive today we drove thru a portion of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and into Florida

We arrived at lunchtime in Pensacola (Home of the Blue Angels).  We headed down to the water and had more seafood....2 doz. oysters on the half shell (25 cents each) for Steve and I had
all you could eat boiled & you peel shrimp.  We were also able to pick up some fresh fish for the cooler to take to Steve's parents.

The weather overcast but warm.
We camped at Big Lagoon State Park; close to the water.

We had a much warmer night in the tent, with the weather in the 50's.
At 5 a.m we were packed and headed for "The Villages" Florida.

My dad and mom lived in Pensacola in the mid 40's while he was in the service at Fort Barankas. Dan and I also traveled there many times when we lived in Mississippi. Vacationing along the waters there is wonderful!
I send you wishes for continued fun, holiday, travel, and great knitting times!!!
