You can see that we arrived in Hannover quite safely to our German host home of Gabi and Hasi pictured on the right of Donna and Bernd (our Fruita friends).  Of course we enjoyed a cold Koenig's Pilsener

A visit to downtown Hannover to enjoy dessert first at Hasi's favorite Gelato shop.

Old Hannover area...the churches are amazing. Our visit on October 23 included an old church with a Martin Luther statue, underground mall and train station.

After a nine mile ride to Anterten(?) - we stopped and had lunch at the biergarten.

Our beautiful old farmhouse -- guest house --- located in town of Ingeln

We took a drive down the autobahn on our way to Lonau and stopped at the Kaiser Pfalz. The city of Glosar and castle were amazing.

Once in Lonau, we had a marvelous dinner with Bernd and his extended family, including his aunt and uncle.

Our breakfasts were always beautifully presented -- we were never hungry.

The hike in the National park Harz - was great.  It circled around and above Lonau.

Herzberg...just down the hill from Lonau is where Bernd grew up.  We stopped at a castle there too.

We arrived back in Ingeln to have a Kale event at a favorite restaurant of Gabi's - that included friends from Lonau.  Great food and beer -- of course.

Now......off to Roma!

Looks AMAZING! Glad you are having fun but you didn't REALLY drink a Budweiser, did you?

Yes......real Budweiser from Budweis, Czech Republic. A great pilsner of old Europe.
