Robin and Alli dropped my off at Hilary's on the 6th on their way down to London to pick up Rachel. Hilary, Gillian and I did a quick tour through Huntingdon which is a small town. We visited the Oliver Cromwell museum (the man who brought parliament to England) and then headed into Cambridge by bus.
Hilary was in a 5km run for cancer so Gillian and I did the hop on/hop off bus. Cambridge is a university city and many discoveries have been made here. We drove past the library that houses the first edition of Winnie the Pooh, the largest permanent American WWII burial ground, the women's universities that still only allow women to register! Sadly enough women did were allowed to attend Cambridge University and write the same exams as the men but would not receive a degree. Eventually that changed in the 1940's.
We had some dinner and sent Gillian off on her bus back to Oxford and then headed back into Huntingdon where we researched my trains and buses etc to get to Erica... yikes! I may find myself lost in London... at least everyone speaks English!

Hey Deb
Just finished looking at your trip so far. Looks and sounds exciting. What happened to the photos? Lost your phone? Just kidding. Saw your Uncle Ted the other day, just before he left for the coast to kill salmon with Norm. I'm getting a bit of wanderlust from all this. Have a great time. Steve
Bugis....
Okay so I am sure you have guessed who asked me to write this one!!
