We've walked a lot today and everyone is ready for a quiet night.
No snow, in fact it was a nice sunny 'warm' day. Santa managed to find us, so we had something of a present unwrapping before we hit the streets. Once we got moving, we made our way to see Barak's place, but surprisingly he chose not to come out to see us - just a friendly squirrel. That was all we had time for before heading to Christmas lunch at an amazing Italian place Fiona found - Buca di Beppo. It had obviously been around a long time and had amazing decor and great food. That was enough to energise us for an afternoon of viewing monuments. We saw most of the sights along the Mall and then walked across to Arlington National Cemetary. We had just enough time to see the Kennedys and the changing of the guard at the grave of the unknown soldier, before the soldiers threw us out.
