Ola! (it´s Sarah)
So...after an amazing five days, we´ve sadly bid farewell to Madrid. (I literally had to drag Devon out of the hostel, she loved it there so much) It was such a fun time...
We are now in San Sebastien. Our first day here it rained non-stop all day, but (by some miracle) we have a TV in our pension room...so we spent a pretty happy day camped out in our room relaxing and watching tv. - Thankfully our proximity to France means that half the channels are in french so we can actually understand what´s going on. (by the way...does anyone want to explain to me France´s obsession with Richard Gere?..his movies have been on TV non-stop since we got here...)
Today was beautiful and sunny...finally! We spent a great day wandering up and down the amazing beaches...and watching in disbelief as all these crazy people went swimming. (we were in our winter coats) These are not nutty little kids either, we saw at least 10 people dive into that ocean, and every single one of them was over the age of 65. We must be missing something...
Tomorrow, I think we´re going to Bilbao to visit the Guggenheim. After that, we´re off to Pamplona and finally up to France!
Hope you´re all doing well... This internet cafe is playing nothing but Bryan Adams, so clearly there´s plenty of Canada love over here.
We miss you... talk to you all soon!
