Hola! (it's Devon)

Well as I sit here writing this, Sarah is probably checking into flights to Brazil. No, your eyes aren't deceiving you, I did indeed say Brazil. We have just spent the last couple of days hanging out with a bunch of Brazilian guys from our hostel here in Madrid. My stomach has literally been killing me from laughing so much. Somehow I don't think the hilarity will translate well over email....but we'll be sure to post some of the pics of our new friends as soon as we can.

Madrid has been a blast so far....and by blast I mean a blast of cold air. Upon our arrival here, we immediately went out and bought winter jackets. We had no choice. When the temp dips below the freezing mark, a couple of fleeces no longer cuts it. Dev in the Plaza Mayor

Remember when I left my winter jacket behind in London cause I thought that would be the coldest place? Smart move Dev.Alright I'll quit complaining about the weather, I know most of you have it way worse.

Anyways, we've been touring up a storm here. We've seen the Palacio Real, the Pantheon de Goya, and enough ham stores to drive a deli hater like myself crazy. Yesterday we hit up the Prado and today, the Reina Sofia. Tomorrow is our last day, so we're going to head to the big market El Rastro and el Parque de Retiro....and hit up every touristy store in search of David Beckham goods.

Monday we're off to San Sebastian for some fun in the sun. Even if we have to lay our towels on a heap of snow. haha. Hope all is well with all you!

Take care and we'll talk to you soon.
