Breakfast is excellent. We head for the Tourist Information for directions and train to Igles (pronounced Eagles). The trains not running so we have to go by bus. We head back to the hotel to remove a layer of clothing and get sun glasses because at 10:30 it's 17°C in the shade and over 20 in the sun. Back out again I spot the bus and we get on after 15 minutes we think that we are going in the wrong direction Shelagh checks and finds that we are on the wrong bus. A very nice man tells us where to get off (politely) and which bus to catch. We alight at Igles and immediately stop for coffee and cake. Refreshed we set off upwards to the Olympic park. Passing the golf course it looks in good nick considering it has been covered in snow all winter. Continuing through the woods we arrive at the park there are still patches of snow so we pose for photos with snow balls. Over to the bob sleigh run – No snow – No Bob, but it looks like Igles is the venue for the 2012 winter Olympics. We head downward across pastures and through woods to the village of Lans where we have lunch. Waiting for the bus to Innsbruck we have to find a shady, it is so hot and of course up here we are closer to the sun! In Innsbruck we head back to the hotel for medication, a shower and a change of clothes. Shelagh finds an ironing board and iron in the wardrobe and what she thought was an emergency cord by the bath is a built in clothes line. Some essential washing is done, and we’re off for a Saturday night out. The Old Town is much busier than last night. We eat in a different restaurant ordering big beer and pasta. After dinner we walk through the Old town streets have ice cream then off to bed.
