Where I stayed
We spent most of Friday and Saturday waiting for the sun to come back out as it was really overcast and reminded me of North Wales, damp, quiet and remote. There was this sea mist that reduced visability to about 100m. We´re pleased to report that the weather has picked up and so we hit the beach for the only bit of coast we´ll see for the next few months.
Punta del Diablo is a sleepy fishing and surfing village with about 3 restaurants open at the minute as its not hit high season and a supermarket which shuts for siesta at 2pm each day. We´ve lived off the best fish and cheese empanadas and pasta for the past few nights having splurged on our 1st night with a fancy meal, patricia beers and exotic puddings, really didn´t feel like we were backpacking at that point. The Uraguyan tannat wasnt bad either!
Will make our way back to Buenos Aires tomorrow and then head off to Iguazu Falls.
I may have to check Em´s backpack for small puppies as the hostel has 4 and it seems the only photos I´ve got of her these past few days are with them.
