I arrived in Lima 4 days ago, the sky was just a off white colour and it hasn't changed at all, I don’t know if it’s the pollution or just a sorry wet blanket that hangs above, it doesn’t even change at night, the light just becomes darker, but the cover stays the same

The temperature hasn’t changed, it just seems to be a clammy climate, not quite cold, not quite warm, but damp

I got up and saw Mario of this morning, (he isn’t a morning person) got his bag downstairs for him and then flagged a taxi, so it was handshakes and hugs and he was off

I have now seen everyone off now, so it just leaves me to go, and to cap it off, I have now had my flight time changed to 11; 50pm, so I will just be hanging and wandering about Lima until it’s time to go to the airport, I think I have seen pretty much all I want to see here now

Mario and I went off to see the sound and light show at the water park last night, fountains and lasers, it was pretty good and we spent a couple of hours there, just wandering around and snapping photos

During the day it was just a case of walking and snapping away, we saw the riot police and had our picture taken with them, we saw the guards and took their photos and the other local police (they do seem to have quite a few different police forces out here, even mounted on horses and motor bikes)

We went down a pedestrian walkway which was just full of clothes shops all trying to outdo each other, but for a change, I saw these 'Indios’ doing a dance in the street, playing for tips, it was a shame, they looked so out of place, but they were very enthusiastic with their dancing and they did get a lot of tips

This will finally bring an end to my trip when I leave here, so I guess this will be the final entry, all I will have to do is add a few more pictures and video to the draft ones I haven’t finished and that will be the end of another blog

This blog was hard to keep in order and post due to the internet services we encountered, and also for doing it from memory a lot of the time, but I think it turned out pretty good in the end

So it just leaves me to say thanks to all who commented on the blog and to those who read it, I hope everyone enjoyed travelling with me and seeing the photos

I will see what travels the future holds for me

Some good pictures , Del.
Well I have no doubt you will find something to do until time to go. I take it you are all packed, and ready, and busting to get home !
Thanks for the journey, I enjoyed being a spectator, (armchair supporter).

You did well to keep all interested, and it has been an experience, even though I was only 'watching'
Safe journey
