End of the trip

Well it's the end of the trip now, I am in Lima, and I think I made a mistake by staying here these extra days, its cold, grey and over cast

But I shall try and see what there is to see here, as the chances of returning are pretty slim

All in all it has been a great experience, I have seen a lot of things that I have never seen before and would have never seen unless I had come on the trip

I met some really great people on the truck (I hope to stay in contact with them, either through FB or emails) both young and old, if they are ever coming to the UK, all I can offer them is a warm welcome, a bed, a meal and my own type of coffee

We stayed in some really good hostels and some really good bush camps, even in car parks (which aren’t as bad as it sounds) some of the places were a real welcome and they were just a dream on my last trip to Oz

I would really like to thank the hard work from Danny and Colin, who without them the trip wouldn’t have been as memorable, I know it was an exploratory trip as much for them as it was for us and they certainly did their very best for us all. Colin for all his hard work on the truck, his sense of humour, the few glasses of wine we shared and just general talk. Danny for his sense of humour, expertise in languages, organisational skills and for just pulling it all together

They are both a real credit to Oasis

I am glad to have met them both

I would also like to thank Rob and Chris (the Aussie Guys), Mario (the guy with a huge ego, a mankini and a warped sense of humour), Naomi and Gemma (2 of my favourite girls, who always had a smile and suffered my bad jokes) for travelling with me, coming out with me and just being there, sharing the wildlife, the walks, the parks and photos

They all suffered and put up with my bad jokes, sharing coffee and having a great time, I am really glad I have met them and hope we can stay in touch for a long time and we can travel together again in the not too far future, if not I wish them all health, wealth and prosperity and never lose their sense of travel or humour

It was a privilege to have met them all

I have a few more entries to post, but they may well be done when I return home to the UK

The entries are................................

Macchu Picchu

The time we went to the sand dunes, went sand boarding, had a BBQ in the desert, our drive from the dunes to Lima, my time in Lima have all to be written yet, I hope you enjoy he photos and videos I will be posting with the entries

I have posted a few photos that don't have any real place and some that I just like
