Bush camp

We got to our bush camp, somewhere in the mountains (after a 5 hour boring bus trip)

It was find a place to pitch the tents and get the cook group cooking

I took a few snaps of the site, as far as I was concerned it werent bad, it started to rain, but just a few drops, no big deal,

A few locals dropped round just to see what was happening, even a shepherd dropped in with  his herd of sheep and goats

I woke up during the night, the sky was crystal clear and full of stars, really good when you are away from any major cities and the light pollution, just a shame I cant take photos of them

It was up again at 5am for a 7 am leave for Saklikent gorge, karacay river (I think the only reason we went here because we were too early for the campsite we were going to, so we also did a bit of food shopping for the cook group

We passed some really spectacular scenery on the way, there was still snow on the mountains, but where we were travelling it was very warm, (especially in the bus (I'm going to call it a bus from now on, all the seats face forward, like a bus, it sounds like a bus, and drives like a bus, so it is now a BUS)

What else can I say, its all been travellling with just 'comfort’ or shopping breaks

But I hope you enjoy the photos

I liked that tree house.

You could call your transport the Busmobile
(Like the Popemobile)

The tree house were comfortable, no beds, just a mattress on the floor, but good showers and a chance to do some washing

Still reminds me of a 60's hippie commune though
