There are quite a few islands dotting the gulf within day-trip distance of Sihanoukville. We choose to go to Bamboo Island it's about an hour away by boat. We left Serendipity Beach around 10am. with 12 on board. This was a overnight trip to the island for some

snorkeling, seculsion and tranquility.

Bamboo Island is surronded by clear waters and the bungalows are sweet.

We have a shared bathroom and shower.

They start up the generator for a little light at night for about an hour.

No T.V.- No Radio- No Lights.

What a great time just enjoying the sounds of the jungle and the distant thundering. This is real paradise!

Re: Getaway
It's hard not to be romantic in such a beautiful place. The palm trees, the surf, the fresh air...the...you get the picture. Derek

I'm glad you enjoy the photo's. I just point and shoot. Everywhere I look it's another perfect picture opportunity. My 'Beautiful Tiger' picture from Koh Kong has been selected as a 'feature' photo on Travelpod.
