It had been a windy night and the day dawned grey and wet. Not much to do on Lewis on the Sabbath but we did find a hostel that was prepared to allow us do some of our laundry. The poor lass running it was managing with a domestic washing machine and a domestic condensing tumble dryer and on the occasions that she had a hostel full of guests all departing at the same time, she would be washing sheets etc from 7 in the morning 'till 1 the next morning! Happily for us, as the ferry does not run on the Sunday, the guests were staying an additional night so we were able to utilise the 2 machines.
That's about all the excitement to report for this day!
