We were pleased to be secure on a pontoon last night, as the wind picked up quite considerably. Blowing from the east, Lamlash would have been horrible. However, all was quiet and beautifully sunny in the morning and it remained so all day. I spent the morning preparing the new blog. I was really annoyed with Yahoo. I'd reported the bug ie the tendency to revert to last year's blog and even if it did take you to this year's first page, the second was last year's again. Anyway, they wrote back saying they knew there was a bug but that all resources were now being used to write a new blog engine and they were'nt going to devote resources fixing known problems. Their loss, I hope you like the new version!
In the afternoon, we set off for a walk up the nearby hill where we gained fabulous views of Campbeltown loch with Arran in the background and the nearby Davaar island in the foreground. Then back to the boat, and a trial of the brand new Suzuki outboard that I bought just before we left Dickies. It worked well, I am pleased to report. This evening we decided to go to the cinema. It's not a film we would choose to go to normally but as it's the only one showing, we have no choice. It's Son of Rambow, hopefully it will be entertaining.
