Our flight to Bangkok is scheduled for today (Thursday). I am sure you have heard by now that the protesters have now taken over both airports in Bangkok, closing both of them. There is no end in sight. They said they won't leave until the Prime Minister steps down. Great. Our flight is canceled. We have decided to extend our stay here in Phuket and ride it out. We expect the airport will be open by Sunday, where will catch a flight from here to Bangkok, hopefully in time to catch our 11M flight home. We are optimistic that it will all work out. We really have our hands tied and there is nothing we can do at this point except to enjoy the beach a little while longer! Wish us luck :)
