Hello again to those already plugged into this travelogue, and a big HELLO to all you newbies. I was originally going to use this site to inform you all of what was going on well I was away, however, has come to my attention that you all want details that are going on right now. So here we go....

The flights were finalized yesterday. We are flying out of the Seattle Tacoma Airport Contintental Flight 166 at 8:30 am and arrive in Houston Geo Bush Airport at 2:39pm (4h09min flght). We then get on Continental Flight 590at 4:05pm and arrive in Lima (Peru's capital) at 10:40pm (6h35min flight). There we will be staying overnight, then taking a domestic flight over the Andes and into the selva (or jungle region) to the city of Iquitos.

In Iquitos we will be helping out local churches, and at the pastoral training center that we will be staying at. We will be in the city for about a week. Sleeping on beds. Then we are going down the Amazon river to our main camp. Everyday we will set out from there into more isolated villages, where we will give out care packages, do dramas, and have church services. Most people in Peru practice a mix of Catholic and Incan religion, where they worship a different catholic saint in each village, but mix these reglgions such that they will be worshiping their sun-god at the same time.

Well, that is all for now...I'll tell you about our dramas and spanish songs later :)
