Valley of the Moon

This is a note for anyone who has ever wondered what it is like to walk on the top of a sand dune.
It is as soft, hot and interesting as it looks. The Valley of the Moon is one of Chile's famous geological treasures, and we cannot disagree. There is a other-worldly sense surrounding this cathedral of minerals and rocks. Colors, patterns, sand, salt, and sky all combine for a panoramic view that leaves one wondering how it all was made. As dry as any place on earth, this is a unique place and well worth the time invested to see the sun set over the red rocks of the Nothern Chilean desert. More thumbnails ...
