Rio Dulce turns out to be a quiet treat from the road. Not expecting to find much to detain our interest on our push from Tikal to the border, we are introduced to this sweet, hospitable little town on the Dulce River.
Stopping to garner some supplies the charm of this river town is undeniable. As is the case more often that we would like, our timeline to reach Colombia prevents us from investing more time in this quiet town. We all wish we could spent more time on this river, however, we do have enough time to purchase the Harpoon for reasons not yet established.
It has been passed down...it is better to have a harpoon and not need it, than need a harpoon and not have one.
