Of course, I have hit the wall in my blogging career, which happens as inevitably as winter, when I don't write for weeks on end. But this time, I was clever. The purpose of this blog is to chronicle my journey around the world avoiding winter, therefore, I'm already winning.

But alas, the blockade came up all the same and I found my self looking longingly at my internet browser while knowing that were I to venture there, my 20 page paper would never get written, and my trip would therefore never be acceptable to my school.

Oh well, what did I expect really, that they would let me go skip around the world without even demanding a blood sacrifice before hand? What a fool I was indeed.

As the next two weeks loom scarily in my future, a dark and merciless future in which I did not have time for NaNoWriMo and have therefore lost all faith in the world, I decided that maybe now, when I am done with my work for the day and about to collapse unconscious on the bed, might be a good time to update.

So what have I been doing with my life that caused me to get so backed up, one might ask?

I was having fun. Fun and adventures. More specifically, I was kidnapped in my own home for a week by the lovely Miss Pixie. She was here visiting my college (god knows why? Just joking. I love you Hampshire, really I do *cough cough*) and, since her visit so perfectly coincided with Halloween, I don't remember much of it. All I know is that my costume had a lot of blue in it and tat the tiny wisp of a girl that Miss Pixie is somehow managed to consume just about her body's weight in candy.

I do vaguely recall a midnight showing of Rocky Horror in full costume, but that might have just been a dream...Although the burger we had at 3AM can't have been, it was far too good.

All in all, I am proud to say that i got though another Hampshire Halloween still moderately alive, and for once, did not get si- no...sorry, can't say that, it'll jinx it.

Since then, I have had only the usual kind of adventure, the kind that involves getting on the wrong bus not once but twice in the course of two days (the same bus, as it turned out). The first time was uneventful apart form me standing outside of Mount Holyoke with the intense desire to start singing the Hogwarts School Song. The second time I was the only person on the bus and got into a lovely conversation with the bus driver.

So that got me to the end of the week, when I realized I really needed to write this damn paper.

At least Daylight Savings is giving me one extra hour to do it in.

In conclusion, if I do not update for a little while, it is because I turned into a Zombie. This should not be worrying in and of itself, but if someone does stumble in on me, I'd like to place an order for my brains to be cooked in a nice french restaurant preferably deep fried, since, being a zombie, I doubt I'll be worried about my waistline.

Good Night.
