What an incredible wedding present! Judy and Keld took us to their favorite ski vacation spot, the gorgeous Dolomite mountains of Northern Italy. For nine days the Hotel Cappella as our base, we skied miles of terrain and soaked up the sunshine and culture of the Sud Tirol region. Our days were spent both on the slopes an in one of the countless Rifugio dining on regional specialities. Highlights include a day trip to Cortina, watching the ski joring races in La Villa, and skiing the Sella Ronda and Lagazoi. At night, we shared cocktails with the Russian, British, German, and Italian guests, many of whom had been coming the area, just as our hosts had, for over 20 years!
