Luis woke up feeling ill. He had the same symptoms as I did when I had food poisoning. We figured that it was the dinner from the night before. Apparently the vegetables tasted old. We left before 7:30 as that was when we had to move the car by. We headed straight to Sevilla with a few pit/pringle stops. We got to the hotel at around 11am. Luckily our room was already ready.

We headed to the Alcazar, the royal palace. This was very interesting and beautiful. The king had secret passages to escape danger and a lot of water features to keep cool in this hot city. Afterwards we went out in search of tapas for lunch. Luis was still not hungry so he had a fanta and tried some of my tapas. It was so hot, and we were very tired after lunch so in true Spanish style, we had a 20 min siesta on a park bench under a shady tree. It was soooo good! Afterwards, we were walking through the park and we found a small pond to put our feet in and cool off. Just Before falling asleep again, we decided we should keep moving.

We wandered towards Plaza de espana which was beautiful. There was a huge building with a moat in which people could row a boat in. We wandered back to the hotel as Luis was very tired. After a nap we headed out to do some shopping and then for more tapas. The tapas were delicious and Luis found something that he could eat. We then went in search for churros con chocolate. Unfortunately, the churros were really oily and salty. The hot chocolate was good though, so we finished that and went back to the hotel to sleep.
