We walked around the market amazed by the fresh fish, fresh and colorful fruit and vegetables, intense aromas of the spices and large variety of cheeses and meats. Once that we decided what to buy for lunch and where to buy it, we bought some olives, anchovies, dates, and saucisson. Trust me, it is not easy to take a decision in such a market.
After the market, we went to visit some of the roman ruins in Nimes. We went to the arena of Nimes which is a smaller version of the Coliseum in Rome. It is the best preserved roman arena in the world
After Nimes, we drove all the way to Barcelona. On the way to Barcelona, we stopped in a resting area to have the lunch that we got from the market. It ended up being a nice place for a pick nick.
