Merry Christmas from New Zealand, even though as I write this you still have about 16.5 hours to go before you get there yourself!
Life has been just going. Work is good, but it is fairly tiring so to be honest, I don't do too much on my days off except go to the gym, and wander around town drinking coffee and trying not to shop away all my money! This time of the year has been strange, even being Christmas, it still hasn't really kicked in. No family, the gifts were sent off weeks ago, and nothing for myself (except my own shopping purchases... which I am saving the splurge for Boxing day sales!). Luckily, there is a Christmas dinner at the hostel with Darilynn's family and a few other people. There will be ha, and lots and lots of cookies (since I stood around while most of them were baked tonight!). Oh and lots of veggies too, don't worry!
On the upside, since I have my laptop, I have FINALLY got my "new" iPod (which was paid for about 3 months ago, and in my possession for about a month) set up with some songs on it. I don't think it will ever get full, 80gb! But I love my new toy. (Especially the pink metallic case I got for it!)
I've also got my hair lopped off since I last wrote... like, at least a foot gone I would say! I absolutely love it. I was definitely ready for the change... I remember actually crying back in grade 9 the first time I got it all off, but this time I walked out with a huge grin on my face, probably looking a bit of a fool to strangers on the street.
Anyways, I hope everyone at home is enjoying their White Christmas (because I am seriously missing it here, for real!). I hope the holidays are happy and safe, and you appreciate spending it with family!
Merry Christmas!

Road trip! The gang before heading off to Taupo.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
Hi Shawna, glad things are going well for you. I love your new cut. I have almost the same cut now. I've grown my bangs out and it's almost like a bob cut. I love it as well. Easy to keep. I haven't not had bangs since I was 15. We still have lots of snow here in the country. Did your mom tell you that Brenda Wilkes (married name?) is pregnant and expecting in April. I never thought I'd see that happen. I enjoy reading your adventures. Stay safe, healthy and happy.

P.S. Sara booked a trip to the Dominican for Feb. and Ashley is loving her new job at the horse farm.
Talk to you soon.
