Another somewhat exciting (to me, anyways) thing that I did was spend the equivalent of an entire subway paycheque on a new toy. It has yet to arrive, but I pre-ordered the 80gb iPod Classic Silver. (brand new model). So, they next adventure for me will probably then be trying to figure out how it works when it arrives! And finding a place that won't get upset i'm downloading loads of mp3s on their computers.
Also, I finally signed up for that 21-day trial at the gym. It is SO good to be back to it. The really cool thing is, since it is a Les Mills gym, all the classes are the same ones that Goodlife provides at home. In fact, the very first class I did was one that I had done before! It was comforting in a way actually, like, "ok, I know I can do this!" So I've gone the past 4 days in a row, pushing through the pain, but today I am finally giving myself a well deserved break.
Friday night a few of us went out in search of live music. We did find some, first place was a bit disappointing but the second venue was pretty good! Tonight we are going to go see some Oscar Wilde play. beats me which one... it actually took me a few days to figure out where I had agreed to go in the first place, due to not understanding accents spoken quickly, but I figured either way at $5 it'll be a steal. Next week (provided I can get off work... they called AGAIN yesterday on my only day off! Good thing I was at the gym!) it is a Rugby game. Adelaide vs. Wellington, so that should be good fun. I'm looking forward to it! A definite must while in NZ. if only it were the all blacks!
Well, better get ready for work. (I'm probably going to be late now, oops!)
