Not mucht o report. Hopped on the big green Kiwi bus this morning (and writing that, I just put two and two together.. duh). Today was rather boring by Kiwi bus standards. We made a quick cafe stop in the morning, and then a toilet stop later on. We took a quick little drive through the town of Paihia, paid for our activities, and checked in.

The town: I LOOOOVE it. It is like my perfect little beach town. Of course, that makes it super touristy, and it kinda sucks cuz its freezing (by New Zealand standards), and lashed rain for a good hour while we arrived.

The hostel: I'm staying at the Pipi Patch, for the first 2 nights anyways. It is really nice so far, top one out of three! Dorms are a bit crowded though, 8 people. At least i got a bottom bunk this time!

I took a wander around town after a snack and watching most of Coyote ugly, to find this cheapest internet. This is it, @ $1 per 15 mins. (which isn't really cheap but there you go!) I'm going to stay here at least a few days, and if I can't find work, then I'll move on. I am doing a half-day sea kayak adventure thingy on Thursday morning, and tomorrow is the day trip up to Cape Reinga, where the Tasman Sea meets the Pacific Ocean (which yes, it turns out my feet have already been in. Whatever!)

Tonight is a Kiwi BBQ at the Pipi, for $12 i'll get some greens, potatoes and meat. (the free beer doesn't hurt either!)

Pretty chill day today, haven't even taken any photos, but it is gorgeous.
