We have this travel thing sorted. We have the best room, on the 6th floor, newly renovated loft. Quiet, clean, new and has a hair drier.

Had an evening in town and visited the Tour Eiffel. Amazing light show, very spectacular.

Today we were going to go up the Effiel Tower but there was a cue about 300 m long... stuff that. Instead we have visited the Louvre, Cathedral of Notre Dame and had lunch. We have been sight seeing with two Canadians, Deborah and Graham.

Later that night we decided we would have another attempt to summit Mt Eiffel. Unfortunately still big queues and it had started raining. Oh well it was very authentic. I loved the views and blimey it is high.

Wish we could have stayed longer in Paris there is so much still yet to be seen. We found the people very friendly and helpful.
