Easy trip, arrive in France with zero money.... first mission, find a ATM. Sweet done, find bus, done. Next ring hostel to pick us up, mmmmm, no, mmmm, no, next minute a 'random' guy calling across the road, do we need a lift. Turned out to be the owner of the hostel.... stoked. No wonder this hostel was voted in the top 10 on Hostelworld. The owner also lived in Auckland for 9 years, he had heaps of information to pass on, we were a bit tired to focus, as you can imagine.

Once sorted, thought we should take a trip into town to get some food, oh my god we were starving, and to do some 'sight seeing' (wink wink). Back to the food, after walking nearly the entire streets of Nice we eventually we found something to eat in our price range. It was an Irish pub, we shared a plate of wedges. These are desperate times. So for tea we cooked our first meal in ages, spag. bog. it was incredible.

Back to the sights, my oh my there is some money. The super yachts in the harbour were incredible. Shiny, big and well big. One boat had 5 other boats on it.

Next day a trip to Monaco via Eze. Eze is an amazing little medieval town on the top of a hill. On the very top, the peak, there was a special cactus/succulant garden. Pretty cool, plus it had the most incredible views of the area.

Monaco was as expected, flashy cars, people, buildings, boats etc. We went to the famous 'hairpin' and we walked the tunnel... I dunno some really long one. Stewart was loving it, lots of Ferrari stuff and F1 stuff. Mmm how exciting. We walked so may miles today I am really shattered. Plus last night we had a girl in our dorm who must have had sleep apnea, I didn't get much sleep, I thought she was dying.

Got back to the hostel and Stewart cooked another amazing mean, a chicken curry. Only 5 Euro for dinner for two and a carton of orange juice.

Off to Reus tonight to catch a flight to London for 5 days or so.

Later all.
