Found the most awesome campsite in Florence. It is up by Michealangelo's statue on the hill above city with the best views. We are kind of blown away. It is really cheap, we got a free coffee, free internet and a great sleep amongst the Olive trees.
Yesterday we wandered the city as we do, it is so huge and the buildings are so amazingly huge and decorated. It is a little like Venice just without the water canals and a lot bigger.
Last night we met a Kiwi couple, they have been living in France, Brian has been a player coach for a league team and loving it. It was great to spend some time with people who have the same love for our country.
Unfortunately or maybe 'at last', as Stewart would say, we leave for the beach today. We are going to camp at a small place called Chiavari, north of Cinque Terre. Hopefully fantastic weather and lots of sand and blue water. 'Cross fingers'.
