D - Day (departure day) has finally arrived. It seems like it has been a long time coming. Kirby drove us to the airport and timed it well so we didn't have to wait long before we boarded. The flight was smooth. I've discovered Adelaide to Singapore is about a 3 movie flight. A dose of Die Hard, Harry Potter & the Simpsons and we were in Singapore.
We got to the hotel, checked in then went for a walk. Found a food market with a stall that sold oyster omelets. The last time we had one of those was in Singapore in 1985. If you come to Singapore I recommend finding the Newton food market and trying an oyster omelet!

Back in the Royal Hotel now, awaiting our 5am wake up call for the trip back to the airport and the connection to Phnom Penh.
