Here I am in San Francisco - crazy how quickly it's come around! After an interesting flight sat next to the chattiest Chinese man ever I arrived in San Fran 2 hours later than scheduled. I walked 5 blocks through a very dodgy neighborhood and I had to ask a scantily clad lady on a street corner for directions... The hostel is cool just a shame about the area. I have made friends with a few drug dealers though... kidding! You can't just tell them to sod off though! Anyway, bright and early I got up and went to see the sights - Alcatraz, Bay and Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square and China Town. I walked for what seemed like an eternity but had a few companions along the way - some German lads and a stray dog! I saw a cool break dancing show on the way back too which was really cool. The next day I went round some museums - mainly because my feet hurt so much and because I've managed to burn my face - San Fran's temperature is cooler because of the wind but the sun is just as strong! I also went by a Philipino festival in Yerba Buena Gardens and ate some really good food. This is my last day in San Fran so I went down to Union Square and took a Cable car a few blocks just to say I've done it, then spent the rest of the time looking for waterproof sunscreen (thrilling or what!). Well I'm off to Oz in about 3 hours!!! Can't wait!
